How do I get quick results?

 

Of course we have tips to lose weight quickly and we use them when clients are trying to get ready for a special event such as a wedding, class reunion, or athletic event. However, we always stress healthy living is a life time commitment. If you are looking for a temporary, quick fix we encourage you to re-think your goals. It is hard on your body to lose weight and gain weight in a yo-yo pattern. The more you yo-yo the harder it will be to lose the weight for good when you become serious about your permanent weight loss goals. Where does Body Transformations train clients?

 

We train clients in a variety of locations. We train at Carla's studio, which is located in her home in Palmer. We hold group classes in larger facilities. Body Transformations also trains clients at their homes or places of business.

Why doesn't Body Transformations train clients in a gym?

 

 

We utilize functional training with our clients. This means we train the body to become stronger and leaner by training the body for movements people perform in every day living. Many machines in athletic clubs don't allow you to work your core muscles (your powerhouse) while sitting or lying on the machine. We have a "get back to basics" approach by strengthening your muscles, making the rest of your day more enjoyable.  Since our style of training requires minimal equipment, this allows clients to obtain a gym membership an option, instead of a "must have."  Anyone can get an awesome workout with just a stability ball, a few hand weights and some tubing. All this can be purchased for under $100.

Who is personal training for?

 

Utilizing a personal trainer is no longer a luxury. We develop plans for any budget. We meet clients for 25 or 50 minutes. Believe me, we can give you an awesome workout in just 25 minutes!

 

 

If you want to learn the most efficient, effective and safe way to meet your fitness goals, than you should consider hiring a personal trainer.

What do I do to get started?

 

One of the best places to start is to attend a Grocery Store Tour. The food labeling industry depends upon your inability to know what

you are buying. They purposely use terms to mislead you into buying their products. In this tour you'll learn to determine when food companies are trying to mislead you. It's a real eye opener to discover what is really in the food you are eating!

When is the best time of day to workout?

The best time to workout is when you will do it. The reality is that we are all different. If you are a morning person, you might want to do it then and get it over with. If you are more of an evening person, perhaps later in the day would work better for you. Working out first thing in the morning on an empty stomach can give you a SLIGHT weight loss advantage. However, if you hate the idea of getting up earlier to workout, don't do it. The advantage is so slight for most people that it is not worth it unless you like getting up early.
